iServ LLC, a franchisee of Sonny’s BBQ, is seeking a Cook to join our team!

Without our Cooks we wouldn’t be able to serve our amazing BBQ and feed our hungry guests! We are hiring immediately and looking for Team Members (including teens, 16 years old and up) who love having a good time, doing the coolest stuff, and making sure those around them have fun too!

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)

• Understanding and practicing our mission, values, and objectives
• Preparing food according to recipe requirements and plate presentation guidelines
• Maintaining portion and waste control using systems standards
• Provide a positive guest experience that keeps them coming back

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and complete work quickly with accuracy
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accountability
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lead and direct while cultivating a healthy and collaborative team environment
• Ability to attend and successfully complete any training or certification programs required by the company, federally, or by the state as it relates to this position

Job Expectations

• Stand for prolonged periods of time
• May inhale smoke from a wood burning cooker
• Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment.
• May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and requested to work with cleaning chemicals
• Ability to use hands to handle items
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
