Job Summary: The role of the Coordinator will be that as a Project Lead, Technical Support and Analyst. A strong technical person to assist the Supervisor in maintaining daily Business Office operations and reports, the Hospital PDMAI in areas of opportunity, the stop loss process as well as weekly reports for the Manager. Share responsibility with Supervisor in reviewing P&A’s to $10,000.00 or other designated amount. Do assigned review and analysis on 27-Day Report, Monthly Report and QC Feedback. A backup to Supervisor in providing technical knowledge to staff as well as coverage due to vacations/absences. Work with Supervisor and staff to complete quarterly AR Validation. Use Access and EQ Database knowledge to assist with download of data for quick pursuit of escalation issues. Review Patient Rep Code categories and report findings for process improvement. The Coordinator will be mentored to understand the principles responsibilities of the Supervisory role and will be expected to be competent to act as a backup to Supervisor. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. One year billing and follow up experience; familiar with Medical terminology; strong PC skills (WordPerfect or Word, Excel).
