Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by engaging the customer, determining their needs, presenting product features and benefit, overcoming objections, closing the sale and building on-going relationship. Sales associate must comply with Non-negotiable standards, store maintenance standards, and sales performance standards. Operate the computerized cash register and money handling procedures correctly. Experience in a commissioned sales environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet every customer in a professional manner.
  • Responds to sales inquiries, initiates new sales, prospects and qualifies leads.
  • Must attempt to demonstrate merchandise and add value to the product
  • Must attempt to add on additional merchandise to every customer
  • Must attempt to close the sale
  • Must attempt to obtain accurate client information on every sale
  • Achieve annual sales goals as outlined by management.
  • Understands and well versed in the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests, and can speak positively and intelligently about the resort.
  • Responds to special requests of guests, as well as guest complaints and inquiries in a calm, prompt, courteous manner.
  • Promotes exceptional guest relations, in order to achieve the desired level of guest service and satisfaction.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Wynn standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times.
  • Attends required training classes and incorporates knowledge gained into daily work practices.
  • Solution-oriented, avoids conflict and gossip, stays on task and promotes teamwork.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be available to work all shifts.
  • Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Candidate must be well groomed and professional.
  • Must have strong customer service skills. Ability to deal with problems involving guests and operational issues maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Candidate must maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding guests information and staff.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook and Shopify.
  • Combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Experience in the home sales industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Must provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers/guests.
  • Candidate must communicate fluently in written and spoken English. Additional foreign language a plus.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
