Major Duties

· Develop, promote and service the passenger ticket sales by TMC through systematically planned in person contact, telephone calls and digital correspondence

· Have a good understanding of the market and competitive landscape, develop and implement a cost-effective sales plan to achieve revenue/traffic/share targets

· Oversee MICE portfolio for the TMC channel. Leverage existing relationships and forge new partnerships to grow MICE sales.

· Maintain regular direct contact with customers as well as potential customers with the goal of securing repeat and new business. Build strong contacts within company’s hierarchy.

· Initiate sales activities such as sales blitz, educational seminars, presentations and road shows. with a focus on ROI. Represent the company at meetings, conventions, trade functions and special events to promote sales and awareness of SIA’s products and destinations

· Incorporates appropriate combinations of contract components and TMC incentives to create a valued selling proposition for the agency’s portfolio of accounts. Supports branch locations of other regional agency relationships within geographical territory.

· Develop and maintain relationships with key stake holders to source for new business or encourage loyalty

· Prepare regular management reports tracking sales efforts and results, competitor activities and trends in the marketplace

· Assist in the resolution / collection of agency debit memos and other debts owed to the company, in keeping with company guidelines

· Support direct corporate sales through TMC

· Perform additional duties and projects as directed

· Available outside office hours and on weekend for operational exigencies if required

· Use of Salesforce to manage call patterns, reporting, sourcing and working leads.

Qualifications / Requirements

· Minimum of three years sales experience in the air travel industry with a focus on Global and Regional TMC sales.

· Familiarity with corporate travel buyers on Midwest

· Established contacts with MICE travel buyers

· Experience with Meeting and Incentives (MICE) space is a plus

· Effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

· Highly motivated with a strong ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines

· Innovative sales approach and positive work attitude

· Proficient in office IT tools and data analysis

· Driver’s license and access to own car for sales calls

· College degree preferred

· Within driving distance to major international airport

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
