Responsibilities:
The Corporate Development Manager will help to diligence, negotiate and close acquisitions of dental practices across select regions in the US. The position executes according to our acquisition processes and should expect to provide input and guidance on those processes to continuously improve. They will collaborate with relevant clinical and non-clinical resources within the company and with third-party partners to gain buy-in and create high quality, reliable diligence outputs that enable the company to make prudent acquisition decisions. Additionally, the role will partner with operations teams to onboard and integrate acquired practices to facilitate high quality care and practice growth.

  • Performs strategic and quantitative analyses, determines appropriate valuations and deal structures, and conducts due diligence to execute acquisitions and partnerships
  • Coordinates collection of diligence materials with doctor and advisor interaction
  • Coordinates with internal and external teams during transaction due diligence
  • Manages preparation of partnership proposals and associated projections
  • Prepares and submits lender package to secure financing for transactions
  • Coordinates with operations team for integration planning and execution activities
  • Manages preparation of valuation recommendations and associated support for senior management and Board
review
Qualifications:
  • At least four years of professional experience, preferably in a transaction advisory services, public accounting, corporate development, investment banking, private equity or management, consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Must possess intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in a fast-paced, meritocratic organization
  • Strong quantitative acumen with firm understanding of financial modeling and related analysis
  • Ability to navigate and document findings and issues within financ ial statements and due diligence responses
  • Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and efficiently
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling and presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, risks and alternative options
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and prepared to undertake all projects with a sense of urgency and work in a selfdirected manner
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field
  • CPA, CVA or other relevant certification preferred
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
