This key position will work with Hiring Managers across the organization to fill a variety of positions, from entry-level positions in Production to Plant Managers, focusing on salaried and skilled trades positions.

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for aggressively securing top talent by utilizing various recruiting avenues, while developing strategies for securing talent, creating monthly metrics and reports. Successful candidate will work with hiring managers to define their requirements and develop a target recruitment approach.
Our ideal candidate has recruiting experience (including passive candidate searches), strong communication skills, excellent computer skills and an internal drive to succeed.
  • Develop relationships with multiple hiring leaders at our multiple locations and act as the subject matter expert for specialized talent acquisition needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruiting sources including candidates, employees, other recruiters, trade school and college officials, business associations, state job agencies, etc. to foster an ongoing pipeline of highly competent and qualified candidates.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers & HR on recruiting related activities to seek out new recruiting opportunities.
  • Actively participate and network with associations, social networks and other groups to build a network of candidates on an on-going basis.
  • Identify, schedule and represent the company at local and state community events to promote careers in manufacturing. Act as an ambassador for the business and functional partners.
  • "Own" the talent pipeline for assigned areas and serve as the subject matter expert.
  • In alignment with business goals and leadership, aid in developing effective solutions to address skills gaps and culture integration.
  • Prepare job descriptions and appropriate interview questions to be used by self and others involved in the recruitment process.
  • Post job openings on internal Career Center as well as on external career sites.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) to post positions and track candidate activity.
  • Conduct phone screens and coordinate and participate in on-site interviews for candidates including coordination with interview teams, company resources and travel department.
  • Conduct thorough behaviorally based interviews with candidates and coach hiring managers on behavioral interviewing and other selection methods.
  • Ensure that recruiting and hiring processes comply with Federal and State employment laws and Company policies. Coach and educate hiring manager on the importance of following pre-employment procedures.
  • Track and document all open positions, candidates and requisite metrics of recruiting success.
  • Participate in diversity, equity and inclusion goals regarding recruitment and retention of new and current employees.
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
  • As needed, conduct and coordinate pre-employment processes such as, driver eligibility, criminal background checks and drug screens, etc.
  • Coordinate onboarding as requested.
