Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Corrosion Control Specialist for a high-level Navy Customer. The Corrosion Control Specialist will perform/support tasks that require an advanced level of knowledge in Surface Ship Repair and Modernization requirements.

Our customer’s mission is to deliver quality, cost-wise material readiness in support of U.S. Naval forces worldwide and is responsible for coordinating the depot- and intermediate-level maintenance of the Navy's surface fleet, and for resourcing the requirements necessary to meet ships maintenance availability schedules.

Work Locations:

· Norfolk, Virginia

· Temporary travel required within the continental United States

You’ll Bring These Qualifications (Required):

Professional experience must include a Minimum ten (10) years’ experience for Senior level

Required experience:

- Navy Surface Ship Repair and Modernization

- Regional Maintenance Center Project Team Roles and Responsibilities and experience in Navy Corrosion Control.

- Depot, Intermediate, and Organizational Level Navy Maintenance in Corrosion Control.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have (Preferred Experience):

- 15 Years’ Experience in: Depot, Intermediate, and Organizational Level Navy Maintenance in Corrosion Control.

Education/Certification Requirements:

- Certified Sensitized Aluminum Degree of Sensitivity (DOS)probe Operator

- Certified Class IV Laser Operator

- Certified NACE SCAT Technician Composite Patch Lead Instructor

- Certified Containment Blast System Operator and Instructor

- Navy Asbestos Removal Team Lead

- High School Diploma

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

- U.S. Citizenship required.

- Candidate must have active SECRET Clearance

These positions are contingent upon award of contract. “Contingent” offers for employment may stipulate those one or more requirements be satisfied before final commitment between candidate and Tamayo Federal is established; namely, award of contract to the Tamayo Federal Team.
