SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible serving customers by providing various beauty services, such as hair styling, manicures, pedicures, scalp and facial treatments, or make-up application.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide appropriate and consistent levels of guest service and hospitality in a professional and ethical manner with regard at all times to comfort of the guest.
• Shares knowledge and information regarding all Spa and resort programs and services
• Follow all regulations in accordance with State Board of Cosmetology
• Maintains supplies by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Prepares hair for styling by analyzing hair condition; shampooing and treating hair.
• Conditions hair and scalp by applying treatments.
• Plans desired effect by studying facial features; examining potential styles; conferring with customer; making recommendations.
• Produces desired effect by arranging, shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, bleaching, dyeing, and tinting hair.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.
• Obtains revenue by recording or collecting charges.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company policy/standards as well as state standards/licensure governing Cosmetology. Proficient in all components of Cosmetology, manicures, pedicures, hand and foot treatments, hair care, make-up and skin care treatments including waxing.
• Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with resort standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Cosmetologist in the State of Florida
