Role and Responsibilities
Specific duties include:

• Preparation of the monthly cost reports and supporting transactions.
• Prepare appropriate accruals for payroll, raw product costs, sales costs and overhead and fees.
• Help with timely and accurate filings for:
• Annual COAR/EDR report
• All Alaska F/V tax filing reports
• Required company permits, including maintaining the permit database
• Prepare monthly sales tax and seafood tax reports
• AFA and crab rationalization reports
• Buyback Fees
• Other reports as appropriate

• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly closing activity like:
• Labor allocation
• Raw material accruals
• Operations tax liability accruals
• P&I adjustments
• Variance true-ups
• Review allocations for BOM errors
• Review production volumes and purchases for accuracy and timeliness
• Review parts and supplies inventory’s and validate costs
• Oversee the WiseFish P&I inventory
• Prepare COS reports

• Work with the Alaska plants to insure timely and accurate source documentation preparation
• Interface with the external auditors as needed
• Maintain Wave item master
• Prepare raw product price adjustment as directed
• Maintain system Bills of Materials and costs routings
• Post journal entries as appropriate
• Special projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Cost accounting experience
• BA in Accounting Degree
