Job Summary:

As a Costuming Storage Cast Member you will support the Costuming departments across Walt Disney World property. The Costuming Storage Cast Member will work in a warehouse environment and receive costume shipments and process pick orders. The Costuming Storage Cast Member will retrieve costuming pieces from various heights that may weigh up to 50lbs. As a Costuming Storage Cast Member you will be trained to operate heavy equipment such as a Forklift, Scissor Lift, Roll Loader and Wave Lift.

Costuming Hosts and Hostesses, Costume Storage receive a starting rate of $15.00/hour.

The Costuming Storage Cast Member will be based at our location located off of the Central Florida Greene Way.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive costume shipments and process pick orders
  • Organize costume inventory weighing 50lbs or more
  • Operate heavy equipment such as a Roll Loader, Forklift, Scissor Life and Wave Lift
  • Prolonged standing during peak operational hours
  • Operate a computerized system
  • Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
  • Cast Members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
  • Willing to work at various heights
  • Computer proficiency and ability to navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications
  • Willing to work with costumes made of fur, fiberglass and plastics
  • Willing to drive a company vehicle including an automatic transmission box truck
  • Part Time roles require full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays
  • Full Time roles require Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual
  • Experience with costuming issue or costuming repair
  • Experience working with costumes in theatre or show production

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
