QUALIFICATIONS:
- H.S. Diploma and 3 years of related experience required.
- Prior experience in food preparation using fresh produce strongly preferred.
- NYS license food handler preferred. Knowledge of Kosher dietary laws also preferred.

- Good organization skills. Provides excellent customer service and is detailed oriented.
- Must be able to handle food according to established sanitary guidelines.
- Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner.
- Creative thinker with original ideas.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Assist in daily cleanup & set-up of coffee shop.
- General stocking & receiving of deliveries.
- Prepare and deliver outgoing orders and morning coffee shop inventory.
- Prepare fruit platters and bowls; specialty sandwiches and provides food preparation assistance such as washing/chopping vegetables and other food items.
- Set up and maintain counter/sandwich area and check-out counter.
- Set-up and maintain stock of foods for purchase and service. Restock inventory.
- Identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using cash registers and/or calculators. Process cash and credit/debit card transactions. Issue receipts and/or change due to customers.
- Provide counter service to guests. Answer telephone and provide guidance to callers.
- Provide set-up and clean-up for catered parties and events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
