Duties and Requirements of the Job (listed in order of importance):
- Provide excellent service to customers with a proactive sales approach.
- Properly enter bids, quotes and orders for customers, managers and outside sales personnel.
- ble to properly take telephone sales and provide informational services for customers and outside sales personnel.
- Able to work given schedule and to be punctual at all times.
- Able to follow direction and instruction from manager(s).
- Restock, clean and organize shelves in showroom.
- Help in warehouse when needed..
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager.
- Able to work well with others.
- Required to have reliable transportation to work at other branches when necessary - Often with short to no notice.
- Properly pull orders for customers.
- Follow proper Opening and Closing procedures.
- OAble to balance cash drawer at end of shift.
Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Provide knowledge of company products and ability to research when needed for customers.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with customers, employees.
- Computer competence.
- Must be able to perform math skills and reading comprehension.
Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Must have some knowledge of computers.
- Able to research products on computer.
Physical Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to work with computers for long periods of time.
Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:
- Obtain Hi-Lo license.
