Ferrous Processing and Trading a business of Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Crane Operator at the Schalfer operation. The Crane Operator will assist with loading and unloading scrap metal materials, bales, bins, boxes, and crates, onto trailers, and truck beds.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads scrap metal materials throughout the yard
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on the equipment
• Responsible for operating the crane while maintaining compliance with all safety rules and guidelines
• Operates crane movement in response to hand signals or radio commands
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Ability to follow oral and written communication
• Work cooperatively with other employees
• Pre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required
