Job Description
As Creative Director, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing the creative vision and content to support the sales and marketing efforts of the organization. You will be accountable for setting the direction of the creative process within the group, and providing inspirational leadership over the creative and content development teams, shepherding the creative process from concept through production. The Creative Director partners with internal and external teams as a leader and individual contributor.
What you’ll be doing:
- Set an inspirational creative vision and high standards for the business.
- Responsible for overall creative excellence, including problem solving, creative strategy, quality of creative craft, innovation within creative team, and impact of creative product.
- Provide leadership and direction of the creative process; is the final arbiter of creative excellence for the design group.
- Responsible for projecting the image as being a creative center of excellence through participation and success in internal and external programs.
- Effectively partner with stakeholders to merge creative ideas with strategic goals.
- Create and supervise competitive and breakthrough design strategies and plans.
- Guarantee the implementation of realistic and thorough creative content strategies that transform business.
- Responsible for ensuring on-going training and agility of staff in important strategic branding practices including corporate, consumer, environments, and digital.
- Proactively share and import best practices within the organization.
- Deliver presentations of creative knowledge and expertise to stakeholders as needed.
- Drive for results by monitoring creative resource deployment in collaboration with the project management team, maintaining high utilization and ensuring profitability.
- Facilitate the development of innovative, client-focused cross-discipline team structures and ensures the organizational structure of the creative team helps support the stakeholder’s overall strategy.
- Partner with other team members to ensure quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in creative production.
- Experience in sales and marketing-driven content and influencer marketing strongly preferred.
- Master storyteller with the ability to command a project and build strong client relationships.
- Has the ability to inspire great content/program design internally, and successfully sell it to the stakeholder.
- Is able to effectively lead strategic design/content development sessions with senior client groups.
- Ability to continually drive growth and new business.
- Ability to translate from idea to action and drive team to successful execution.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Interpersonal & relationship building skills: ability to work well as an individual and within a team.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
