Our Fidelity/Crime Division provides fidelity & crime, kidnap & ransom and fine art policies Worldwide. Customers include Fortune 500 public companies, private companies, financial institutions and governmental entities. Coverages include employee dishonesty, forgery, theft, computer fraud and kidnap, ransom and extortion coverage. These coverages are offered for diverse classes of business including specialized industries such as gaming, security guards, check cashers, armored car companies and program business.

We are currently seeking an adjuster who will direct subrogation/recovery efforts as well as adjust claims in this exciting area of insurance coverage.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Pursue and track recovery on previously paid claims.
  • Investigate and resolve claims, which includes reviews and evaluation of coverage. The investigation also involves securing and analyzing information (i.e., reports, policies, appraisals, releases, statements, records, or other documents) in the investigation of claims.
  • Affect settlements/reserves within prescribed limits and submit recommendations to manager on cases exceeding personal authority.
  • Convey complex information and claim determinations to all appropriate parties, while maintaining a professional demeanor in all situations.
  • Ensure that claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statutes, regulations and other legal requirements, and that all applicable company procedures and policies are followed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business or a related discipline.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience.
