Job description
The CT Technologist prepares radiographs of any portion of the human body to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Ages of patients served range from newborn to geriatric.QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must have an active Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice (IDPH).
2. Must be an active American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
3. Must be on the active Registry in Computerized Tomography (RT) ® (CT) within one year of employment as a CT Technologist.
4. Must have a minimum of 1-year experience working specifically in the field of Radiology.
5. Graduate of a 2-year accredited Radiology program
6. Must have completed a 1-year hospital based training or accredited CT program.
7. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
8. Must complete continuing education requirements as required by IDPH.
9. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
10. Working weekend, holiday, and rotating shifts as well as on call is required.
11. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
12. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
