Posting Summary
The Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) Senior Project Administrator serves as the primary resource to implement, modify, and support the Clinical Trial Management System(s). Provide oversight and coordination of the CTMS in accordance with federal, state, and organizational standards, regulations, policies and standard operating procedures, clinical trial protocols and agreements, and statements of work. Serve in a leadership role which defines and builds consensus on strategic planning and operational initiatives related to the roles, workflows and integration of research, clinical, financial, and operational systems. Oversee complex data, interfaces, and research workflows to support improvements in the operational and financial performance of clinical research utilizing best practices in research management, metric tracking, reporting and continuous process improvement by supporting CTMS integration.
Serve as the subject matter expert to influence, define and lead the CTMS implementation, rollout, upgrades and maintenance at Larner College of Medicine (LCOM)/ University of Vermont Health Network (UVM HN) in collaboration with Research Leadership and CTMS Steering Committee, research community and service providers. Provide analysis, planning, and data management in long-range planning for processes, procedures or special projects to assess, meet or advance the clinical trials objectives and strategic goals, limiting institutional risk and assure long-term integrity of data and compliance requirements. This is a central research administration position and reports to the Assistant Dean for Clinical Research Administration.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in in research, health, or technology related field and six years’ related experience to include CTMS system implementation and management within a research environment, and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) required. Experience with clinical research applications, including IRB and clinical research life cycle required. Proven project management experience required. Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical issues to non-technical users and generate quality documentation required. Ability to establish effective, ongoing relationships with clients, staff, and management. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work under pressure in high-stress situations.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience with Clinical Trials operations, data management, and research related reporting requirements, e.g., National Cancer Institute (NCI) required reporting, Clinical Trials.gov, etc., Prior experience with OnCore CTMS, Huron CLICK, and EPIC experience preferred. Prior experience with public speaking, delivering presentations, training and supervisory experience desirable.
