POSITION TITLE: Day Porter-Custodian-Facilities

STATUS: Non-Exempt, PT

WORKDAYS: Up to 20 hours per week

REPORTS TO: Facilities Director

SALARY RANGE: $18.00 - $20.70 per hour (22-23 salary scale)

SUPERVISES: None

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Facilities Director, perform a wide variety of facilities cleaning and provide support for events (ie. set up, coverage, etc.) as needed. Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly work environment in compliance with health, fire, and other regulations.

1. Performs custodial duties including, but not limited to, mopping, and sweeping floors, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, disinfecting, emptying trash, glass cleaning, polishing, etc.

2. Works closely with other facilities staff and the Facilities Director to coordinate and ensure proper coverage for daily facilities operations and events. Assists with events setup, breakdown and clean up. Checks and responds to email daily. D 15

3. Participates in training opportunities as required.D 5

4. Maintains a high level of work performance with an emphasis on efficient, quality, customer-oriented work. Supports district objectives and participates in programs and activities that promote a positive employee relations environment.D 5
