Job Purpose: Establish & cultivate relationships with strategic accounts and distributors.
This is a remote position, but candidates must live in FL, GA, SC, NC, or OH.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management-support Strategic Accounts Team and all identified specific accounts
- Responsible for timely and accurate order entry and management for all accounts assigned to the team.
- Quickly research and respond to order status inquiries, expedite requests, inventory and lead time inquiries, sample requests, pricing requests, quote requests, shipment tracking, and return authorizations.
- Maintain & manage distributor accounts.
- Manage current EDI customer base and help identify future potential EDI customers.
- Knowledgeable about product regulations and specifications. Offer additional suggestions on our products when needed.
- Provides back up support to other team members to maintain exceptional service to our customers.
- Strong decision-making abilities and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when needed.
- Team player with a positive can-do attitude.
- Able to meet all performance and quality goals.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- At least 1 year of call center experience utilizing an ACD system.
- Strong communication skills to include written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to create relationships and overcome obstacles with a sense of urgency.
- Strong computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Additional Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- M3 or similar ERP experience
- EDI knowledge
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Zoho knowledge
Teamwork: Contributes to building a strong positive team.
Physical Demands:
No physical exertion required. Required to sit for long periods of time. Occasionally required to stand, walk, or balance.
