Did we say DAYTIME POSITIONS - yes we did!! We also have evening positions available beginning in May.

We are so excited to be offering you a position in the newly built Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Experience a professional and friendly work environment with the positions and qualifications listed below.

We are seeking staff (for approximately 4 shifts a week). MUST have weekend availability.

These positions are mostly daytime hours on weekdays and weekends, with evening hours added during nighttime garden events. Normal café hours are 9:00am– 5:00pm.

Our customers have learned to expect fast, friendly, and accurate service with a smile from the employees at the Missouri Botanical Garden, and we are excited to be adding to our team!

Minimum requirements for Customer Service / Cashiers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 6 months of cash handling experience
• Previous food service or retail experience a plus
• Some customer service experience
• Basic math skills
• Customer service oriented personality
• Highly organized
• Energetic, enthusiastic and motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Honest work ethics
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
• Capability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
• Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to carry up to 20 lbs.
• Capable to stand long hours
• Ability to follow directives
• MUST HAVE DAYTIME & WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

Background screenings and direct deposit information will be required for all new hires.
