Job description
Position summary: This position supports all aspects of the bakery sales and production processes and will need to work with direct and indirect supervision. This will include order processing, job entry, job issuing, material transfers (raw and finished goods), order picking, order shipping, order invoicing and working closely with the Transportation Manager to ensure timely shipment and delivery of finished goods. As part of these processes, reconciliation of finished goods in all warehouses will also be required. There will be initial travel required to the bakery to gain understanding of products, production planning, production processes, job tracking, etc.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, and is based on experience
Consistent and dependable attendance
Order processing:
Timely entry of all customer orders, ensuring correct pricing, items, etc.
Timely confirmation of processed orders.
Coordinating with Transportation Manager on all shipments and deliveries.
External warehouse coordination:
Timely picking and invoicing of all customer orders shipped from outside warehouses.
Transfer of materials within the system (inventory receipts)
Weekly balancing of external inventories.
Daily transfer of finished goods from the bakery to outside storage locations.
Coordinating with Transportation Manager on all shipments to outside storage locations.
Approval of 3rd party invoices for storage.
Internal job management:
Receipt of job information from the bakery.
Enter jobs into Syspro, issue jobs from exiting raw material inventory in MT and Syspro based on information from the bakery.
Notify finance when jobs are ready to close.
Adjust inventories based on weekly cycle counts from the bakery.
Special projects as assigned.

High school diploma

Qualifications desired:
Lean Manufacturing experience such as 5S, etc.
Knowledge and use of inventory tracking software and WMS systems.
Prior experience with MRP and production scheduling system.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use hands to finger, grasp, or feel objects, talk or communicate, hear, visually inspect areas to be cleaned, and repetitive motions substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands and/or fingers.
Work environment: Sedentary to medium work. Office with the possibility of up to 20 lbs lifting force at times.
Mainly inside environmental conditions.
