In-Depth seeks Cyber Information Assurance Engineers to support a new digital electronic warfare system. The Cyber Information Assurance Engineers will have experience with application software, operating systems, networking, cyber vulnerability, security principles, and design for information assurance. Duties:

• Perform Cybersecurity Engineering duties on Navy Control Systems/Platform Information Technology
• Integrate Cybersecurity clients on servers running the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System with the ability to make configuration changes and write Linux scripts
• Perform duties as necessary to harden Linux and Windows Operating Systems for target application
• Apply security patches to 3rd party software to address cyber vulnerability issues
• Conduct tests as appropriate to ensure that the patches and hardening perform as expected

Qualifications

• This position requires a government security clearance
• Must be a US Citizen for consideration
• 3-5 years’ experience working in a Cybersecurity Engineering environment. Navy electronics and/or combat systems experience desired
• DOD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) or Information Assurance Manager (IAM) certifications desired
• Linux System Administration experience or certifications desired
• Knowledge of NIST Special Publication 800-53 desired
