Ingram Content Group (ICG) is currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville area). This individual will perform daily tactical work within Ingram’s Information Security team. They will investigate security events, incidents, audits, assessments, forensics, and projects and resolves issues. This person will exercise discretion and independent judgment based on security best practices and existing policies.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Associates degree in an IT Security or Information Technology discipline or substituted with equivalent years of experience.
• 2 years IT security, IT Infrastructure, or application development experience

We have a preference for:

• Experience with Enterprise-grade Antivirus products
• Experience with Log aggregation or SIEM tools
• Experience with Internet filter software for client platforms/devices
• Experience with Email filtering and security platforms
• Experience with VPN software
• Experience with encryption for end user devices
• Experience supporting Executive leaders and Management level associates directly
• Experience using Enterprise ticketing systems
• Experience with security for ICS or SCADA
• Experience with EDR
• Experience with Web Proxy
• Experience troubleshooting Windows and MAC systems

The Cyber Security Analyst’s key responsibilities are:

• Monitors security tools and reports indicators of compromise.
• Works with other Analysts and Engineers to investigate security events.
• Reviews and maintains process/procedural documentation.
• Reviews logs/alerts and performs tasks on security systems and applications.
• Performs User Account Management tasks including on-boarding / off-boarding of users and managing accounts.
• Performs daily reporting of security relevant events to leadership.
• Troubleshoots access issues and answers general inquiries regarding information security practices or security access.
• Interfaces with Security management and staff to identify potential risks. Collaborates with other team members on strategic direction, technologies, concepts and standards.
• Follows established processes and procedures to ensure compliance with policy. Reports all suspicious activity or non-compliant access to management.
• Provides daily customer support to ensure customer satisfaction. Develops and maintains good relationships with other teams, system owners, business units, and users. Ensures communication is customer focused and professional.
• Performs ad-hoc reporting in support of various initiatives. Maintains individual records for departmental metric reporting and compiles metric reporting data as necessary.
