JOB SUMMARY

Maintain inventory status through timely and accurate counts of inventory. Reconciles SAP system information with current inventory

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review priority sheet provided by Logistics. Cycle count and report to shipping.
  • Cycle count parts based on rotation provided by report. Verify label, count, bin, warehouse, active, etc.
  • Racks – cycle count, put away material and pull material based on production needs.
  • Receiving MH backup
  • Materials Team Backup
  • Monitor all INAD/INCP containers shown in SAP and pull based on productions schedule.
  • Monitor line sides.
  • Material locations – monitor material locations determined by plant layout.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); requires strong computer skills and working knowledge of production operations within Gestamp. Prefer Associates degree in Logistics and APICS certifications.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
  • ERP System knowledge and 1-3 years previous manufacturing experience managing inventory

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Essential functions include significant walking, bending and stopping as required to take inventory and counts.

Performs all work in accordance with OSHA and MIOSHA standards and company policies and procedures. May participate on Safety Committee and work groups. May assist with safety audits and reports to management.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
