About the Role:

Our dynamic Revenue Operations group is searching for a Yield Associate to join their high-performing and agile team. We are looking for someone who has a passion for number crunching, customer service, and a data-first mindset. This position will play a vital role providing important data to our management + executive team, assisting our publishers with their data needs, and crafting insights that drive company decision making.

The Yield Associate will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer, Manager of Revenue Operations, and Publisher Support. The position is mostly remote work, with occasional in-person meetings. Our ideal candidate should come ready to serve an integral role in our day-to-day operations, provide valuable data insights, be extremely detailed, and have a passion for white glove customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work with Media Tradecraft’s publishing clients to provided needed data requests, analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
• Support the ad operations team by monitoring and optimizing active campaigns, and execute our daily data strategy.
• Help with ad operations to reconcile and build end of month reporting.
• Discover and enable new demand partners to grow revenue. Build tracking systems to report on high- and low-performing partners.
• Enable business decisions, troubleshoot issues, and determine optimizations through analytics.
• Work, operate, and manage Media Tradecraft’s internal reporting tools. Provide suggestions and build new products to improve reporting efficiency and best practices.
• Ongoing analysis of the effectiveness of our ad products, leveraging data to inform future developments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel, including use of major functions (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Basic understanding of ad code, JavaScript, and general coding
• Understanding of Google DFP, Line Items, and Ad Serving
• Proficiency with Prebid
• Prior work with Klipfolio, Google Data Studios, or other data visualization tools
• Drive, ability to manage details, meticulousness
• Ability to proactively organize daily tasks and be a self-starter
• Proficiency in Excel (including formulas)
• Understanding of the basic language of online campaign measurement: impressions, clicks, engagement, KPIs, uniques, pageviews, visits, referrers, etc., and a desire to become an expert technical resource in this area
• Basic knowledge of HTML and ability to perform simple code troubleshooting
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems using common browser debugging tools
• Familiarity with Google products like Docs, Calendar, Analytics
• Keen problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn and grow with the organization!

Additional experience desired:

• Familiarity with Platforms: Google Ad Manager, CMS, Google Analytics
• Prior experience trafficking in an ad server (Google Ad Manager preferred) or in ad operations, sales support, or account management
• While this role is not technical, comfort with QA tools and methodology and troubleshooting technical problems using common browser debugging tools is a plus
