STV currently has an opening in our New York, NY to work as part of our Transportation & Infrastructure Division.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Data Analyst to join our Transportation & Infrastructure Division to support our sales and engineering teams. The T&I Division is a dedicated group of professionals in engineering, planning, environmental, architecture, and operations who are committed to designing and building our region’s great infrastructure assets to keep our economy moving forward. Key responsibilities include:

  • Review and update CRM database for compliance with STV policies.
  • Assist in business development, creating and maintaining project win plans, client capture plans, general client strategy and pursuit tracking via CRM.
  • Develop reports as requested by management using the CRM database.
  • Provide administrative and technical management support to the technical teams (e.g., civil/structural, architecture and construction management) in the Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) Division on projects from bid preparation through final acceptance by client.
  • Support our technical teams in the T&I Division with proposal development and resource planning.
  • With support from other staff members, this position will provide technical assistance, i.e., analyzes RFPs/contracts, assists in team strategy and communication, outlines writing tasks for technical team and participates in writing of response to proposals.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience using basic office tools to analyze, prepare, and write strategic communications to assist in business development efforts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Knowledge of or an interest in transportation, infrastructure, government relations, and public agencies is desired, but not required.
  • Works with basic office management tools applied to tasks of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has internal and some external contacts.
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May provide guidance to others.
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Architect, Marketing, Political Science, Journalism or Related Degree Required. Experience with database management and CRM software is a plus.
