Position Summary
The Data Architect is responsible for designing data infrastructure to extract and organize for authorized individuals to access. Their duties include identifying internal and external data sources, collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organizational needs, and using the information to create and maintain data infrastructure for employees.

Position Summary
The Data Architect is responsible for designing data infrastructure to extract and organize for authorized individuals to access. Their duties include identifying internal and external data sources, collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organizational needs, and using the information to create and maintain data infrastructure for employees.
Responsibilities
- Identify solutions for new databases and new data architecture
- Determine the requirements for new database architecture
- Publish and/or present design reports
- Identify areas of improvement in current systems
- Coordinate with other team members to reach project milestones
- Audit database and data flow to maintain quality
- Create systems to keep data secure and compliant
- Ensure best practices in data management are being followed
- Build proof of concepts using new cloud technology
- Design and optimize data pipelines
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-10 years of experience in SQL Server (2016 or 2019 preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience with MySQL
- 5-10 years of experience developing SQL queries and stored procedures
- 5 or more years of experience with Data Modeling
- 5 or more years of experience with developing and maintaining Process maps
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
- Health care experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- Dedicated, hardworking employee who achieves maximum efficiency and productivity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
