Position: Principal Enterprise Architect—Microsoft Azure

Type: Contract 8-12 months and thn conversion

Pay rate – up to $85-88, Salary - $125K – 130K

Rate: DOE (GC/USC and H1-B)

City: Camarillo, CA Remote, west coast / PST candidates only

MUST HAVES:

• 7+ years of experience architecting enterprise technology solutions for Microsoft.
• Microsoft Azure expertise.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in a managed healthcare organization.
• Experience providing guidance and defining strategy for how companies should deal with technology

PRINCIPAL ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT—MICROSOFT AZURE

The Principal Enterprise Architect translates business needs into technical strategies, systems solutions, and architectural roadmaps. The Principal Enterprise Architect provides strategic advice and guidance to the functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience especially related to IT Disciplines.

• The Principal Enterprise Architect will play a key role in influencing Company Technology Strategy as well as providing tactical architecture direction to ensure the enterprise can achieve the strategy.

• The Principal Enterprise Architect will work with stakeholders and industry experts to understand and build an alignment on the various architectural technology standards.

• This role serves as a thought leader to challenge/influence all levels across the organization to rethink routine, embrace new best practices, and drive the adoption of technology standards. This role will also apply enterprise architecture governance over solutions that provide technical capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Work with various stakeholders to build an enterprise alignment around technology strategy, standards, roadmaps, and terminology

• Facilitate the creation of clear, concise, and easy-to-access technology standards to provide engineering teams with tactical direction for achieving the enterprise tech strategy. Communicate and evangelize the value associated with adhering to the tech strategy and corresponding standards.

• Create visibility and build awareness of the gap between current state architecture versus future state architecture and advocate for gaps to be filled.

• Ensure seamless governance is applied to engineering teams who are building technical capabilities. This work includes ensuring engineering teams understand the architecture standards to which they must adhere, guiding engineering teams through the Technology Review Board and Architecture Review Board processes, and participating in technology evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective

• Experience providing guidance and defining strategy for how companies should deal with technology

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related relevant experience

• 7+ years of experience architecting enterprise technology solutions for Microsoft.

• Microsoft Azure expertise.

• Ability to partner within and across teams to gain consensus and enable change

• Ability to influence stakeholders

• Ability to drive tasks to completion

• Strong communication skills for creating and sharing presentations to multiple levels of audiences of stakeholders – i.e. senior executives in business and IT, architects, developers, etc002E

• Minimum 4 years of experience working in a managed healthcare organization

• Negotiation and mediation skills

• Master's degree or relevant experience
