Today, the School is renowned for its academic programs, its research and its commitment to clinical and community service within state, national and global communities.
Position Summary
The Data Collector will travel to the Department of Social Services and NCWorks Career Centers in Guilford County and possibly immediately surrounding counties to gather vital data. Data collection will include blood pressure using an Omron BP monitor, weight using a Tanita scale, physical activity through an Actigraph accelerometer, and a self-response survey through Qualtrics. In addition, this individual will complete study orientation and training to carry out all study roles, adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols and procedures, complete regulatory requirements (IRB, etc.), and attend regular research team meetings via Zoom to give status updates or raise any concerns.
Strong communication skills in order to coherently articulate instructions to participants. This individual will be in constant contact with the study manager and principal investigator to follow information ordering to arrange actions in the order that study procedures specify.
