PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for application design. Deeply involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
  • Participate in risk assessment analyses of results and identify the potential for exploitations and assign risk levels to systems
  • Produce quality assurance and information assurance-related reports and documentation
  • Perform analyses at all levels of total system product, including: concept design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
  • Participate in general engineering reviews and report on subjects affecting systems security
  • Use encryption technology, penetration including: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal (delete on all descriptions)
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures, design cyber security architectural artifacts, provide architectural analysis and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provide engineering recommendations, & resolves integration or testing issues
  • Provide expertise on current systems with threats/product vulnerabilities, focusing on how they relate to other systems
  • Assist in resolving policy and process discrepancies with accepting an application and/or system
  • Design secure network and system security compliance polices
Requirements:

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position can be filled in Orlando, FL or Charleston, SC
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems; Cybersecurity; Computer Science or similar technical field of study
  • Two (2) years' experience in the same or related technical program
  • Knowledge of network architecture management
  • Familiarity with programming and database management languages including C++, Java, Python, & SQL
  • Current 8570 IAT Level 2 certified (CCNA Security; CySA+; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE; SSCP; CND) or have the ability to become certified within 6 months of employment

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with creating and configuring Virtual Machines
  • Experience with digital forensics tools/software
  • Four (4) or more years' experience in a technical program of similar nature
