Order Analyst
Gpac is partnered with a reputable and family run manufacturer that is seeking an Order Analyst.
Summary
Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Order Analyst provides the best possible support to the customer service department by entering orders, answering customer calls, and generating reports to analyze data trends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Order accuracy for every sales order
- Completeness of orders
- Specifications are accurate
- Correct prices, customer identity and location
- Daily maintenance of orders and order entry
- Processes order changes or order cancelations as needed
- Provides customers with tracking inquiries and copies of invoices
- Organize and run reports for weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis
- Track trends and identify issues for the Customer Service Manager
- Provide phone coverage
- Perform daily EDI order entry
- Performa address book maintenance
- Process revised purchase orders
- Maintain files and records pertinent to order procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail, initiative, analytical analysis, enthusiasm, teamwork, and results-orientation are important attributes for this position
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in customer service or related field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer specifications, general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
