Charlotte Mechanical, a well-known area contractor, has an immediate need for a full time Data Entry Clerk for our New Construction Division.
We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to enter information into our database from PDF documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. This position is on-site daily.
This is not a remote position

The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.

• Transfer data from PDF formats into computer files or database systems using keyboard
• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Update existing data
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Proven experience as data entry clerk
• Fast and accurate typing skills; Knowledge of touch-typing system
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Good command of English both oral and written; customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
• High school degree or equivalent
• Willingness to train/assist in other support functions as needed

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm – Overtime as needed

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
