TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks a Data Entry Operator, part time, for our Client in Oakland, MD . You must be able to work onsite in our Oakland, MD office.
DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
(a) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and enter data into databases and maintain accurate records.
- Accurately enter data from a variety of sources.
- Review and inspect work to assure compliance with job instructions, layouts, and other procedural instructions.
- Selection, coding and interpretation of data.
- Ensure quality control of completed jobs.
- Assist in maintaining production in accordance with established schedules and priorities.
- Perform record keeping of work performed.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
(b) KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Working knowledge of data entry machine/computer operation, practices, and procedures.
- 40wpm typing speed and accuracy.
- Ability to use 10-key pad and alpha-numeric entry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High school education or necessary work permits if still in High School
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.
(b) KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- At least one year of work experience as a data entry operator.
