Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Data Science Manager Senior in Jacksonville, FL to lead an advanced Artificial Intelligence team consisting of Senior/Junior Data Scientists to solve complex analytical solutions and build solutions on Cloud Services such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Lead an Automation team in development of technical solutions for intelligent automation and automation initiatives. Enhance operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce time to delivery through intelligent automation, self-service transformation, and accelerating digitization efforts. Employ machine learning and statistical modeling to create and enhance data driven products. Analyze and extract insights from internal and external data. Work with big data and transform complex datasets into more usable formats. Work with a variety of data science platforms and programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, SQL. Work independently and collaborate with other groups to solve complex problems. Create and present analyses to internal and external partners and clients. Document models and write code to track and monitor models and product performance using version control tools. Understand the realities of model development and make pragmatic and business-aware choices when trading-off sophistication and accuracy versus implementation and performance costs.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering (any) or a related field and nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: analyzing and mining large quantities of data to find patterns and insights leveraging SAS or open-source analytical stacks, including R, Python, and Spark; developing and implementing quantitative solutions that leverage structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources; implementing quantitative solutions in Hadoop, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Cloud based ecosystems; worked with tools and techniques, including machine learning algorithms, object oriented programming and data mining and visualizations to optimize data; utilizing machine learning and statistical algorithms to create data-driven solutions for business applications; handling complex structured and unstructured data sets from internal and external sources; supporting development of statistical models; delivering a Machine Learning project from beginning to end, including requirements analysis, aggregating data, exploring data, building and validating predictive models, and deploying completed models with concept-drift monitoring and retraining; and collaborating with cross functional teams. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and seven (7) years of experience.
