RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The Program Manager must (a) manage the day-to-day activities of the provision of DH; (b) monitor compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the provision of DH; (c) implement and oversee the DH provider’s policies and procedures; (d) hire, oversee training, supervise, evaluate, and when necessary, fire staff members; (e) oversee member services and participate on IDTs; and (f) report to the MassHealth agency and other involved agencies, as requested and required by the agency or agencies.BA/BS in related field and minimum of 2 years of experience with ISP implementation and target population preferred. High School with supervisory experience will also be considered
-Interviews, trains, supervises, and evaluates all direct care staff members and allocated staff members assigned to the program. Ensures that self and staff members receive all required agency trainings and follows up with staff to ensure certifications are obtained by staff (i.e. First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration, etc.)
· Adheres to all agency and Day Habilitation policies and procedures
-Performs additional related responsibilities as assigned including direct care responsibilities as necessary.
· Fiscal management of individual and program funds
· Attends training, meetings, and community on-sites as necessary to meet program/individual goals.
· Implementation of ISP's and Behavior Plans
QUALIFICATIONS:
-The Program Manager must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field, with at least three years of relevant health care experience, of which at least two of those years must have been spent in a supervisory role. Six years of relevant health care experience, with three of those years serving in a supervisory role, may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
· Valid Driver's License
· Able to physically perform two person lifts and lift up to 40 lbs.
· Must be able to pass a CORI check and driving record check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
