Job description

We are hiring immediately for full-time collector positions. This job mainly consists of contacting responsible parties and determining the best repayment plan. Collectors will have to be polite and sensitive towards people, while also remaining persistent and committed to their purpose. Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency are extremely necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Organize and track assigned accounts to identify potential payers
• Locate (skip trace) and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
• Handle questions or complaints
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Update account status and database regularly

Skills

• Proven experience as debt collector
• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Apt in negotiating and persuading
• Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
