Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children (CSAAC) is a private, nonprofit organization located and operating in Montgomery County, MD dedicated to supporting individuals diagnosed with autism.
CSAAC is seeking a Part Time Delegating Nurse for our Health Services Department. The Delegating Nurse reports directly to the Nurse Manager.
The Delegating Nurse is to oversee the safety, health and well being of the individuals that we support as well as to promote and maintain the health of these individuals, using a delegation nursing model. The Delegating Nurse maintains a caseload of individuals and is responsible as the delegating nurse for those individuals’ health care.
Delegating Nurse Qualifications:
Delegating Nurse Education:
Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN, Master’s degree in Nursing, or certified from a hospital based program registered in the State of Maryland.

Delegating Nurse Certification: Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) Registered Nurse Case Manager / Delegating Nurse (CMDN) in Assisted Living preferred.
Delegating Nurse Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience as a registered nurse. Experience in Psychiatry and/or with developmental disabilities desirable. Delegating nurse experience preferred. CPR/ First Aid Certified.
Delegating Nurse Skills: Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational and coordinative ability. Must possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise patience, caring and concern in new and sometimes stressful situations. Computer literacy required, with a proficiency in standard business software applications (i.e., word processing, email and spreadsheets).
