Deli Specialist Job Details :
The Deli Specialist will take pride in providing picture perfect deli sliced meats, cheeses and fish. Deli is maintained clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift. Deli Specialists work in view of guests and maintain a level of professional look and attitude.
Demonstrates not just pride in every dish made, but also understands the company’s cost and insures proper recipe adherence. Always follows proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling and sanitation practices.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Professional appearance, positive attitude
· Able to follow written recipes and order tickets
· Adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing food
· Preferred knowledge of slicer machine
· Experience with using knives
· Works well in a team environment
· Dependable, reliable means of transportation
· Reliable and flexible with work schedule, work days, nights, weekends, holidays
· Able to take direction, multi-tasking, organizational skills
· Ability to stand, bend, reach and walk for long periods of time
· Performs opening and closing procedures as assigned by manager
· Thrives in fast-paced, ever changing environment
