Delivery Driver

Western Pacific Building Materials is hiring for someone who wants to grow their career. As a Delivery Driver you will perform job site deliveries and pickups at new home construction sites throughout an assigned region. You must deliver the product in an organized manner, provide a great customer experience, and appropriately explain the delivery circumstances to the customer with a positive attitude.

Essential Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Perform job site deliveries by unloading material, stacking material in an organized manner, properly noting delivery paperwork, and documenting all work performed
• Responsible for driving to locations as directed by pre-set scheduling according to territory assigned
• Responsible for selecting necessary product from truck to deliver on jobsite
• Responsible for material pickups
• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate Western Pacific’s core purpose when dealing with customers
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Minimum 1 year delivery experience in a similar environment preferred.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean DMV record required.
• Must be physically capable of lifting doors and millwork up to 75lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to use loading/unloading equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, lift gate, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to present a caring and professional demeanor with customers.

Work Environment

Work is performed in several environments including onsite at the company, on the road, and at the customer location.; some time may be spent in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and dust. PPE is required when appropriate. Several hours will be spent driving a delivery truck. High level of social interaction required in order to serve customers. Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
