Job description

The Ministry of Caring Inc., a non-profit agency with services to the poor, is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant (with the aim to transition to a full-time position in the future) to work at its Pierre Toussaint Dental Office located on the East side of Wilmington. The schedule for this position is: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In time, we hope to add Thursday and Friday as full work days as well.

Stable prior work experience as a Dental Assistant (2+ years) is required as well as professional training and a current State of Delaware X-Ray certification.

In addition, applicants should have a desire to work in a community dental clinic setting, and have a high regard for the dignity of the patients served.

Professionalism, compassion, attention to detail and dependability are a must. Candidates must also be able to obtain acceptable results from drug and background check screenings and provide positive employment references.
