Job Title: Design Assistant
Classification: Regular full-time, non-exempt hourly
Pay: $22 - $ 24/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Location: Boulder, CO 80301 (Sterling Location)

Opportunity

The design Assistant is Responsible for assisting the engineering team in updating and developing production-related documents as well as assisting in production-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Creating and revising design, manufacturing, and production implementation documents

• Limited use of 3D printing and CNC machines

• Aid in rapid prototyping of new products and components with the engineering team
• Working with managers, engineers, technicians, and machine operators for process streamlining and accompanying documentation
• Assisting in the general design and manufacturing process

Qualifications

• Experience with Fusion360 or equivalent CAD software
• Ability to analyze and comprehend technical documents
• Familiarity with GD&T
• Ability to manage multiple drafting projects in tandem to meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic to handle a fast-paced and rewarding work environment
• Experience with other image and documentation software
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organization skills
