As our Designer, you will...

Be Accountable and Responsible

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Designer to help us establish and maintain our brand. The designer's responsibilities include reviewing final layouts and content, ensuring brand standards are met, and putting the finishing touches on creative projects. To be a successful Designer, you should be creative, computer savvy, and meticulous. Ultimately, a top-notch Designer is an expert with digital interfaces, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and has a keen eye for details – no matter how small. Every pixel counts. You're passionate about all things art/design and production, you even dabble in strategy and copywriting. Your vacations revolve around design museums, street art, fashion, and architecture (and food!). You know who created Helvetica. You can instantly visualize PMS 341. You can spot if something is a pixel off from 50 ft away and you're not afraid to point it out, constructively. Attention to detail is part of your DNA. If you are that person, we'd love to talk.

  • Exceptional opportunity on legendary brand and major agency client.
  • Conceive and design innovative CRM solutions that align with overall creative strategy.
  • A creative eye and appetite for image curation, photo retouching, and cropping.
  • Stretch your ability on all aspects of design including quick comping, animated gifs, banner resizing, in addition to delivering a polished design solution.
  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and developers, as well as working with project managers and account directors to refine design specifications.
  • Review graphics, layouts, and fonts before designs are completed.

These are the qualifications we are looking for

  • 3+ years of professional experience in design at an ad and /or design agency
  • A range of clients in your book – financial services is a bonus.
  • Experience in programs like Sketch, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Photography curation: a picture is worth 1,000 words and a keen eye for story-telling and image composition is imperative to our brand.
  • Organizer & multitasker: manage your time, energy, and workspace well while accomplishing all your assigned tasks.
  • Hyper-focus to detail: can follow a marked-up PDF with 50 comments and ensure all edits are accounted for throughout. When direction doesn't make sense or align with a client brief, you know how to take control and get answers.
  • Conceptual thinker: You're quick on your feet when you need to be, but have the ability to think through complex objectives and create strategic conceptual ideas.
  • You know all the shortcuts and quick keys in Adobe Creative Suite (Ps, Id, Ai). And making Google slides look fabulous is a huge plus.
  • You understand design systems, and how to implement them across digital and print. Your encyclopedia-like knowledge of fonts is uncanny. You know which colors are in vogue but aren't afraid to break some rules.
  • Generalist: Your natural curiosity for art and design continues growing your skillset and your portfolio
  • An online portfolio that showcases everything digital

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $81,000.00
