Mariposa Landscape, Inc is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, reliale, individual to do repairs and maintenance at our Irwindale facility. We are looking for a well trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in their work. Desirable candidate will need to be versed in both 2 and 4-cycle equipment, gas and diesel trucks, tractors, mowers, and hydraulics. Welding and light fabrication skills are a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of proven experience as a fleet maintenance mechanic
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents
• Valid California drivers license
• High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of the apprenticeship program is preferred
• ASE certifications are a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct routine maintenance work
• Schedule future maintenance
• Keep computer logs of work and issues with vehicles/equipment
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working condition
• Maintain a clean organized work area
• Maintain inventory of parts for repairs and supplies for crews

• $32 ~ $38/hr for experienced diesel mechanic with CDL

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 3 years (Preferred)
