What You Will Do as a Dietary Aide

As a Stonerise dietary aide/assistant, you will assist with food preparation and tray service for patients, help set up the dining room, perform cleaning duties, prepare snacks, supplements, and drinks. Some of your primary responsibilities include:
Assisting the cook, setting up tray lines, and setting up the dining room serving table with glasses, straws, etc.
Working tray lines and serving main courses, desserts, salads, etc.
Transporting food carts to dining areas.
Preparing and delivering nutrition and special snacks to nutrition pantries.
Keeping shelves in storerooms, freezer, and refrigeration units clear and in order; discarding all outdated food items as needed.
Maintaining proper sanitation by cleaning cooking equipment, utensils, appliances, counters, floors, etc.

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food handling experience preferred
Ability to read and write
