Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide/Cook ensures that the resident meals are properly prepared and apportioned according to the resident’s diet specifications, facility procedures, and prescribed dietary and sanitary regulations.

Essential Functions

· Prepared food items on assigned/scheduled menus

· Maintains sanitation of equipment and utensils, work area, storage, area, and serving area

· Follow proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

Educational/Training Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

Licensing Requirements

· Texas Food Handler Certificate is preferred

Experience Requirements

· Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic methods

· Knowledge of Universal Precautions and rules that govern hazardous waste

· Previous experience in skilled nursing facility is preferred

· Ability to follow oral and written directions

Regency Integrated Health Services has adopted a universal COVID-19 vaccination policy for the health and safety of its patients and staff. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
