We are hiring Part-time Diet Aides to join our team in Mt. Angel!

Great hours for students or supplement another job!

Starting at $15.00 - $20.52 based on experience

Schedule hours (AM and PM Shifts): 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 4:00pm – 7:30pm; days vary

Successful candidates will have knowledge of basic math skills, and specialty diets in addition to the following:

· Accurately process diet and nourishment order requests in the computer systems to optimize efficiency and productivity.

· Assist residents with placing meal and snack orders, taking into consideration any food allergies, cultural preferences, and CMC therapeutic diets restrictions

· Wash dishes, pots, and pans at the end of the shift.

· Assure accuracy and appropriateness of meal including food texture, fluid consistency, appearance, portion control, taste, and temperature. Able to make appropriate substitutions according to meal satisfaction standards.

· Maintain courteous, considerate, cooperative, and accurate communication with facility personnel, patients, and families.

· Must be able to successfully complete criminal background checks (State and Federal) and drug screenings and must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Who you are:

· Ability to access and enter data to form or entry functions on a computer Ability to write notes and brief instructions using correct spelling and grammar

· Deliver friendly and efficient customer service

· Speak clearly and present information orally

· Apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions

· Six (6) months previous experience with one-on-one customer service interaction.

· Previous computer data entry experience

· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand/walk frequently
