Minimum Requirements

You have a minimum of 4 direct years building measurement and reporting plans within complex organizations, etc. and feel comfortable working across acquisition, sales, and service mostly focused on sales and service. You’ll be working to understand and define data requirements to bring reporting needs to life. If data doesn’t exist, you’ll need to define how we are going to measure (and measure it), even if it is directional. You are service-driven and confident that you can solve a problem without someone telling you specifically how do to it. You must feel confident working autonomously and collaboratively.

Role Description

The Digital Analytics Analyst will help transform Great American Insurance Group’s digital experience and deliver on our core value to be a customer focused organization. This new role will have an impact within the transformation and strategic direction of digital experiences as well as how we function as an organization. As a digital analytics analyst, you must be able to work closely with leadership, business units, product, and UX teams to execute work as well as consistently provide recommendations and thought leadership. You feel comfortable being empowered in your role and can work collaboratively and autonomously seamlessly. You are a great communicator and will update leadership on progress in concise informative communications.

Primary Functions

  • Responsible for measuring and bridging the gap between behaviors, products, customer experiences and journeys, and web analytics providing effective insights in and out of digital experiences as well as optimization, customer success and outcome metrics
  • Work with website Product, UX, and corporate stakeholders to understand business goals, define digital measurement plans, success metrics, requirements, as well as provide insights and reporting on how customers engage with our digital assets
  • Writes analytical requirements for technical teams to meet data harmony and reporting needs
  • Works closely with business and technical teams to ensure data collection meets requirements and scales appropriately
  • Proactively explain the 'why' in addition to the 'what' while educating business stakeholders on insights
  • Propose and implement processes, standards, and governance to keep running our business efficiently and effectively within the web analytics practice
  • Promote web analytics education and adoption of insights, metrics, and measurement frameworks
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently
  • Report findings with data visualizations and stories that are easy to understand
  • Use a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity
  • Provides Test & Learn analytic methodologies, requirements, reporting, readouts, and recommendations
  • Monitor analytics behavior to track experience to determine if there are optimization opportunities and report to leadership, Product, UX, IT, and other business stakeholders
