Overview:
The Digital Content & Social Media Manager develops and implements digital and social strategies in support of branding, advocacy, recruitment, and organizational initiatives. The role will work to develop innovative tactics, contribute to the planning and creation of content, and assess effectiveness of digital efforts for website and social media. Maximizes digital presence and performance is achieved to give exposure to the LiveOnNY brand and our mission.
Responsibilities:
Digital Content & Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

Works with Director of Marketing & Social Media to develop and implement digital and social strategies in support of branding, advocacy, recruitment, and special initiatives.

Manage all social media platforms, strategy, and planning of content calendars and campaigns. Includes blogs, website content, podcasts, video content, etc.

Attend organizational events and meetings, follow staff in the office or field to gather and produce real-time social content, both static and video.

Run paid advertising across multiple channels (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and track results Utilizing tools such as Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics to provide insights.

Develop and monitor KPIs.

Interface with agency partners (advertising and digital) to help implement strategies and provide day-to-day support for on-going projects.

Identify emerging digital trends, best practices and technologies that would benefit the organization.

Develop and strengthen LiveOnNY’s relationships with social media contacts throughout service area with hospital and community partners.

Manage website including development of new websites, on-going maintenance of current website using content management system.

Monitor performance of website and report on metrics with recommended actions to improve performance including SEO. Update and audit company website.

Manage digital mailings.

Manage filing of all relevant digital content.

Other duties may be assigned .
Qualifications:
Digital Content & Social Media Manager Qualifications:

Required:
Five+ years of experience as Digital Media Specialist or Digital & Social Media Marketing Manager or similar role.
BA/BS degree in marketing, digital media or relevant field.
Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends.
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and work autonomously.
Proactive communications skills, ability to function in a fast-paced environment, and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Strong sense of graphic design and visual data storytelling.
Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company’s success.
Critical thinker who can problem-solve.

Preferred:
Agency experience preferred.
Good knowledge of media editing software, qualification in web design or animation is a plus.

Salary Range:
$ 70,000 - $85,000
