Our Direct Care Workers (DCWs) work as personal care, housekeeping, and companionship providers for individuals who are homebound due to age, illness, or disability. DCWs provide assistance and support services to clients both in the community and in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to create positive impacts on their clients’ lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring and coaching others to achieve their goals.
What our Direct Care Workers do for our clients:
- Meal preparation
- Errands
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming
- Medication reminders
- Companionship
Direct Care Worker position requirements:
- Current two-step PPD
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
