Royal Community Supports is looking for a self-motivated, energetic Direct Support Professional to support an individual who lives Maplewood, New Jersey

Young adult seeking experienced PART-TIME DSP support for after school and weekend support. DSP candidates should be well-versed in supporting individuals who have behavioral needs in a proactive manner. The ideal DSP will have an interest in art and enjoy creating through painting and other mediums. The individual needing support likes to be active, so we are looking for someone who is physically fit, likes to walk, exercise, bike, and be outdoors. Position requires providing transportation to various activities; DSPs need to have a valid DL and a reliable car. The ability to read body language, interpret expressions, and to generally be intuitive is vital. Hours: M, T, F 3:30-6:30, Sat & Sun 1-4.
